Grainy, diffuse aesthetics and the love of the analogue are at the creative core of the work of Studio Rough aka Isabella Ruf. Hand-scanned elements made of paper or fabrics, digitally composed together at times shrill and colorful, at other times gloomy - like that divide their collages into organic and geometric elements. A mix of large, bold objects and fine lines. Photo snippets torn into abstract paper, mixed media in handcrafted execution, a lot is possible.
